Blueberry Festival - Chocolate Covered Blueberry Gift Basket

 

I had to share this adorable blueberry gift basket that I made for Timber Creek for the Blueberry Festival.  The little bags inside the basket contain chocolate covered blueberries and have tags on them showing either a prize (like a free gym membership)  or a thanks for stopping by message inside.

I used the following Stampin' Up! supplies:

Small cello bag

Chocolate covered blueberries

Moss Grosgrain ribbon (retired)

Cardstock:  Barely Banana, Ballet Blue and Mellow Moss (all retired but great for blueberries)

Night of Navy Stampin' Write Marker

Big Shot

Sizzix Originalz Two Tags Die

Sizzix Originalz Circle Die

Snail Adhesive

 

I used my Longaberger Bread Basket to put the goodie bags in and tied an Old Olive Striped Grosgrain ribbon around the outside.  The basket was made complete with its very own handmade, needle-felted blueberry.  That little blueberry pushes this project over the top to the "stinkin' cute" category:))

Snowflake Coaster

 

Here is a little coaster that I made for our INKredible Shoebox Swap on Saturday.  We had two sessions for the swap and this was the project I did for the first session.

I used Stampin' Up!'s new fabric adhesive to create this project - easy peasy!  This could easily be turned into an ornament, an embellishment on garland or hanging from ribbon with other items from the ceiling or a doorway...

 

Here are Debbie and Mena working on their projects.  So much fun and we had such great projects to do!

I am still up at the cabin today - heading home later this afternoon.  Having a blast - great company, great food, tons of stamping, and CHOCOLATE!

Gratitude Box using Tasteful Trims Die

I have been a little "box" and "packaging" crazy lately.  This box is one that I originally created to show at he Summer Stamp Fest in New Jersey at the end of August.

 

I really love how it turned out.  I started by using the fabulous "Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper" from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This paper is called specialty because it is a textured Designer Series Paper.  It is heavier and just fabulous to work with - especially for projects like a box.  It also matches the new stamp set "Day of Gratitude" perfectly.

Here is my supply list (all products - Stampin' Up!):

Stamp Set:  Day of Gratitude (LOVE this stamp set!!!)

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper, More Mustard and Very Vanilla

Accessories:  Window Sheets (medium), Tasteful Trims Bigz XL die with my Big Shot, Bone Foler, Paper Snips, Crystal Effects, Sponge

Deerfield Valley Farmer's Day - Craft Fair

 

I spent the weekend demonstrating different types of crafts using my Stampin' Up! supplies and selling my work at the craft fair being held at the Deerfield Valley Farmer's Day Fair.  What a great turnout we had.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth to make a project, the people who booked workshops and classes and those who bought some of my crafts.  You all made the weekend very fun for me!  I will definitely be back again next year!

I'd like to share some photos that I took while I was there.  These kids made the bookmark project I was demonstrating.

Cabin Fun Weekend - Gift from Tina

"Mine" Luggage Tag from Spring Fling

While helping to clean up at Spring Fling, I noticed a cute little tag on a Big Shot Doctor Bag sitting on a table.  It simply said "mine". 

 

We found out that this bag belonged to Barbara Lash.  She must not like to share:))  (Ok, I am kidding - Barbara is very good at sharing!)  She actually mentioned that she received it at a recent Stampin' Up! event in a swap.  It is pretty stinkin' cute and makes her whole bag - don't you think?

Big Shot Fabric Flower Brooch from Spring Fling in Massachusetts

Today I thought I would share some samples of one of the projects we got to make at Spring Fling in Holliston, MA on Saturday.

We each had different fabric assortments in our project supplies.  The one to the left is a flower that Carol made and the blue one is my sample.  These brooches were made using the Big Shot with the Bigz XLFlower Folds Die.  They are quick and easy to make and a lot of fun.  I didn't put my pin back on mine yet.  After I do, I plan on attaching my flower to my craft tote.

Fabric flowers embellishments are all the rage right now.  it s so much fun to be able to make your own in the colors, textures and style you want for your accent piece.  I like adding flowers to my jackets, sweaters, bags and scarves to name a few.  They are so versatile because they pin on one thing and can be taken off and added to something else.  You can change colors of flowers to match the outfit you are wearing on any given day - pretty cool stuff!

Big Shot + Fabric = Fantastic Projects with Donna Griffith of Stampin' Up!

Donna Griffith from the Stampin' Up! Corporate offices in Salt Lake City, Utah was one of our presenters at Spring Fling this weekend.  She share some Sweet Treat Cup projects with us and also some Big Shot Fabric Projects that she has been working on.

This Spring banner is created using the Big Shot, Bigz Clear Circle Die, Bigz Scallop Circle Die, Stampin' Up! Library Clips and ribbon.  Donna showed us how to take ribbon and make it curly by wrapping it around a dowel, holding the ends on with clothespins, laying it on a cookie sheet, covering it with foil and then baking it in the oven at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.  Let the ribbon cool, unwrap it from the dowel and voila - curled fabric ribbon.  What a fabulous idea!

Donna shared some fabric circles that she made with fabric.  The one to the left has been washed and dried giving it that rag look with the frayed edges.  Very cool look to it and very popular!  The sample on the right was created and not washed yet.  I really like the look of denim on the projects.  That is another big trend right now.

This fabulous rag bag is another Donna Griffith creation that she designed especially for this event.  We were the first to see this creation before it it shared on the Stampin' Up! website.  How stinkin' cool is that?!

Donna brought a bunch of quilt square samples along to share as well.  She also had three different projects made using the sweet treat cups that she demonstrated at the event.  I won't be sharing all of her samples here on my blog.  You need to attend our events if you want to see and learn about all of these fabulous projects:))

I really loved Donna's projects and it was really wonderful meeting her in person.  It is awesome to have Stampin' Up! corporate people visiting our smaller venue events that groups of demonstrators put on around the country.  In February, I got to spend time with Pam Morgan in New Jersey.  This weekend it was Donna in Massachusetts.  I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful company and groups of demonstrators!

Rag Bags from Spring Fling

My friend, Donna Centamore sent me these photos this morning that were from Spring Fling yesterday.

In this picture is Donna Griffith from the Stampin' Up! corporate offices in Salt Lake City, Utah on the left, yours truly in the middle and Donna Centamore on the right.  I probably should have changed my name to "Donna" for the day so I wouldn't be the odd one in the middle with a different name:)) 

Anyway, we were all presenters at the event and received these awesome handmade rag bags that had handmade thank you cards inside as one of our gifts.  We all just loved them and squealed with joy when they were presented to us.  Donna C and I were being goofy modeling our bags for our little photo session.  We weren't on que though - this picture shows just her having a moment.

The bags are so stinkin' adorable, aren't they?  They were made using the Bigz Scallop Square Die and the Big Shot.  The handles on our bags were a woven handle instead of the typical fabric ones that you see around.  They are just fabulous.

I will share some photos from the presentations over the next couple of days.  I have to say the "two Donnas" did a fabulous job with their project ideas, presentation and samples that they brought to share.  I just love going to these events and leaving with new ideas and different twists on projects you have seen or done before.  It is just awesome!

DEMO - Spring Fling, Holliston, MA

I am finishing up my packing for my demonstration at Spring Fling in Holliston, MA tomorrow.  I have TONS of fabulous fabric projects to share with the group as well as a demonstration on Needle Felting.  I cannot wait!  I did a similar presentation back in February at Winter Wonderlude in NJ.  When Barbara asked me to demo at Spring Fling, I just couldn't say no to her (hi, Barbara)..:))

This bookmark is one of the projects I will be sharing during my demonstration along with many, many other samples that I will be surprising everyone with.  I will also be bringing samples from a recent fabric swap from Stampin' Connection.  So much excitement packed into one day.  I hope you are ready!!:))
