Gratitude Box using Tasteful Trims Die

I have been a little "box" and "packaging" crazy lately.  This box is one that I originally created to show at he Summer Stamp Fest in New Jersey at the end of August.

 

I really love how it turned out.  I started by using the fabulous "Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper" from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This paper is called specialty because it is a textured Designer Series Paper.  It is heavier and just fabulous to work with - especially for projects like a box.  It also matches the new stamp set "Day of Gratitude" perfectly.

Here is my supply list (all products - Stampin' Up!):

Stamp Set:  Day of Gratitude (LOVE this stamp set!!!)

Cardstock:  Old Olive, Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series Paper, More Mustard and Very Vanilla

Ink:  Cajun Craze, Old Olive, More Mustard and Early Expresso

Accessories:  Window Sheets (medium), Tasteful Trims Bigz XL die with my Big Shot, Bone Foler, Paper Snips, Crystal Effects, Sponge

French Foliage Mini Lunch Sack

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love the weather, the colors and all the decorations.  This little bag is my spin on a cute fall gift bag.

 

The scallop edge Mini Lunch Sack is new in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.  They are fabulous.  The bags are of nice quality (I know what a surprise...SU always has nice quality items).

Here is what I used for supplies:

Ink:  More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Early Expresso and Old Olive  (LOVE these colors together)

Stamp Set:  French Foliage (Holiday Mini - #120845 wood / #121166 clear)

Cardstock:  Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze and Early Expresso

Accessories:  Mini Lunch Sack (Holiday Mini #121031), Paper Snips, Hemp Twine, Dimensionals, Sponge

I used the splotchy stamp to create the background of the bag with More Mustard ink.  I also sponge More Mustard around the edges of my Very Vanilla with the wording on it to add more color and dimension.  I popped Dimensionals behind the center rectangle and also behind the More Mustard cut out leaf on the front.  Tie it up with some twine, add some leaves with the stamped saying and voila - your cute little gift bag is done!

The Great Pumpkin

Since it is both Fall and Halloween, I thought I would share this adorable pumpkin card with you.  I am not even sure where I got this pumpkin stamp, but it is a favorite of mine to watercolor this time of year.  The "Autumn" is from a retired seasons stamp set from Stampin' Up! which is also a favorite of mine to use and one I cannot part with.

This card is one that is included in my "Autumn / Thanksgiving Card Assortments".  The six card assortments being offered are all made and ready to be shipped out by the next business day following your purchase and are great cards to use this time of year for many occasions, including Thanksgiving!

Pumpkin Festival, Townshend, Vermont - Craft Fair

Last weekend I finally took part in the craft fair at the Pumpkin Festival in Townshend, VT.  Each year there is a festival with a craft fair, kids' costume parade, scarecrow decorating contest and pumpkins for kids to decorate.  There are free pony rides, face painting and all kinds of food and craft booths for you to visit.

 

As you can see, we had a fabulous day for the craft fair.  I am taking this photo standing outside my tent.  I had a great location that was right at one of the main entrances.  I also had a beautiful view of this church with the mountains and the beautiful leaves.  This is such a great location for an event like this.  There is a common with a road that goes all around it that is blocked off to traffic.  It is like having your own little world for a festival.

 

Here is a little bit of what I offered in my booth.  The cards were a pretty popular item.  I have them displayed on both a table top card rack and a floor standing card rack that I purchased from Pottery Barn a few months back (they have since been discontinued).  The Frankie Treat Boxes shown on the table were also very good sellers.  There is a little box attached to the back of them that holds a cello bag filled with treats for your trick-or-treaters.  The kids (and the adults) just LOVED them!

I don't think I have to tell you how popular these little guys were:))

These little spiders and sunflowers were the hit of the show.  Just about everyone that entered the booth purchased one of these adorable little treats.  They were just so stinkin' cute, how could anyone resist them:))

Season of Friendship Card and Envelope

I have been among the missing for a little while.  I have had a pretty booked calendar and TWO craft fairs to prepare for that were only one week apart from each other.  Not much time for anything but stamping and keeping up with orders and paperwork:))  I have missed posting for you here on my blog.  I can now share some things that I have been working on. 

This is a card that I have been making this month that has been pretty popular so I thought I would share it with you.  I used my favorite fall stamp set "Season of Friendship" and accented it with my favorite autumn Designer Series Paper called "Autumn Vine" from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog (which is some really fabulous paper!).
