I have been crocheting since I was a teenager. Now I am not going to tell you how many years that is - especially since today is my birthday. I don't want to give away the age:))
I probably haven't crocheted anything in the last 10 years or so. I was just into other things. THEN I decided that I wanted a pair of those fingerless gloves made out of a really nice yarn - like Alpaca. So...I went to the yarn shop and grabbed a skein of yarn and made a pair.
I had some leftover yarn so I decided I would make a scarf to match the gloves. This yarn is so soft. It is a combination of Alpaca and silk. So heavenly to work with and touch.
Here is the completed set. I just love how they turned out!
I went to a Sheep and Wool Festival a couple weeks ago that was in Tunbridge, VT with my good friend, Carol Millay. I got some more fabulous yarn while there and I can't seem to stop crocheting! I have made a ton of things and will share some of those with you in future posts as well.
I have some "top secret" Stampin' Up! craft projects to share too. I have to wait until after this weekend to share them though. I am heading to NJ again to my upline, Tina Rosenkrans' for a fabulous weekend - two days in NJ for an overnight and a double shoebox swap (I will be making 20 projects while there - yeah!) and then off to the cabin in the Catskills for Saturday night through Monday. I cannot wait! What a fabulous way to spend my birthday weekend!!!
More to come, so stay tuned.

Hi, Lynn. Would you be willing to share the source of you pattern for the fingerless crocheted gloves? I have made some knit ones, but they take SO LONG! Thanks much, Cindy in Illinois
