At Spring Fling this past weekend, we Make & Takes as well as having demonstrations throughout the day. This sample is one of the four Make & Take projects that were done that day.
Carousel Notes are from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog. They come in three colors - Soft Sky, Groovy Guava and Wild Wasabi and are assorted 4 of each color in a package of 12. Not only that, they come with 12 fabulous Chocolate Chip square envelopes.
The first sample uses the Soft Sky Carousel Note and Soft Sky Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
The accents on the ribbon are colored ribbon slides from the new silver Hodgepodge Hardware set. Inside the ribbon slide there is an Ice Circle Rhinestone Brad.
The second sample uses Groovy Guava Carousel Notes. the accents on the trim are done with Groovy Guava and Whisper White Inks and White Gel Pen.
This last sample uses Wild Wasabi Carousel Notes and Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. All three samples use Chocolate Chip cardstock on the top third of the card with White Gel Pen accents.
I have really come to LOVE Carousel Notes after playing with them and then demonstrating them at Spring Fling. I am hoping that they make it into the new Stampin' Up! Fall/Winter Collection 2009 catalog in early August!
I hope you love these as much as I do!
Lynn

Kivonne,
The stamp set used on the scallops is "Live Your Dream" from the Occasions Mini Catalog. There is a stamp in the set that has three flowers that was used. Just ink up one of the three flowers and stamp it on the scallops. Be sure to alternate the flower and the color of the ink.

Alanna,
The Carousel Notes are just one single piece of scalloped cardstock. The samples shown in this assortment are actually two Carousel Notes attached together and then scored under the Chocolate Chip portion to make them a hinged-type of card. They are really a lot of fun to play with!

These cards are beautiful! I love the Carousel Notes, but am wondering...are they a single sheet or do they actually open like a card? I can't tell from the picture.
