Here are two more little treat holders that I have been making at my Spring/Easter Gift Classes.
The scalloped edge was created by using my Stampin' Up! Corner Rounder Punch. The two treat holders shown here use two different types of scalloped trim. The yellow one just adds the trim and the green one adds words on the scalloped piece and then used as the trim. Both are really cute, it just depends on your mood when you are creating your project.
The inside of the treat holder looks like this. I ran out of the little bunnies covered in foil to peak through the center of the window, so you will have to settle for a nice piece of Hershey's dark chocolate mini candy bar:)) Since the words were not stamped on my scalloped trim like I did on the green sample, I thought it would be nice to add it to the bottom of the project so that it could be seen when the top flap is both open or closed.
I originally started showing this project in Wild Wasabi (green), but then changed the color to So Saffron when I tossed in another item in my gift class that also had green in it. I wanted the projects to be different not only in looks, but in color scheme as well. You all know how much I love green:)) What do you think about these two color choices?
The possibilities are endless when you create a project like this. The themes that you could use for these little guys are also endless. What might you need a project like this for? Can you imagine what colors you would like to use? If you aren't sure of the colors, a great place to start is by picking out favorite color or colors and building upon that.
As always, if you have any questions or need any help creating your project feel free to contact me at happy.stamper@yahoo.com.
Happy stamping!
