I held a Customer Appreciation and Retirement Party at my home on Saturday night. Everyone who attended this event received a free gift from me and also made an adorable little project to take home with them. We actually ended up making two projects because I wanted everyone to know how to make the project instead of me having it done for them. I had light refreshments of cheese and crackers, red and green grapes, baby carrots, my very popular iced green tea and water. I also sale tables with handmade items and previously retired stamp sets for sale.
In the two photos above, Anne and Tina are showing off their Microscope Slide Snowman Ornaments using the retiring Stampin' Up! stamp set It's Snow Time (my favorite snowman stamp set) while Carol finishes off her ornament. Tina in the black t-shirt in the back is also the lucky winner of my Retiring List Contest and won a $15 gift certificate from me that she collected that night. Congratulations Tina!
Here is Tara with little baby Holden (5 1/2 months) who is our youngest stamper in the group:)) He spent much of the night flirting with the ladies showing off his new teeth with his big beautiful smile. Who wouldn't be charmed by this little guy? Just look at those eyes and those cheeks! We happily took turns passing him around so that mama Tara could finish up her projects.
Speaking of projects, here are the two projects that we made that night. The little goodie bag was the other project we made using the Cold Play retiring stamp set from Stampin' Up!
These little guys are made by stamping the snowman face on Whisper White cardstock and then punching it and another layer of Bashful Blue out with Stampin' Up! Circle Punches and then layered onto a Scallop Circle of Basic Black cardstock. We used a mini glue dot to attach them on to Peppermint Patties and then put them in a medium-sized cello bag and tied it off with blue gingham ribbon.

Looks like you all had a great time. Love those snowman bags. They are just too cute!

This is a great idea. Maybe if I keep my demo up and have some regular customers I can do this with them. Sounds like you had a blast!
